Survey Reveals that Most Americans are Against a Digital Dollar CBDC

A survey conducted by a crypto mining firm Genesis Mining indicates that most Americans don’t want a CBDC. Although the number of supporters has nearly doubled since 2019, over 75% are still not in favour of a digital dollar. Nearly all the participants were aware of crypto but a significant portion also had a low level of financial literacy. This reluctance to adopt a CBDC could widen the lead China has and give them greater dominance over the tech in the future.
