We are very excited to announce that the CBDC Committee has launched on 8th September 2020 at the CBDC Forum.
In 2018, FinTech4Good, the World Digital Economy Council and the DeFi Alliance launched a CBDC Working Group in facilitating learning, sharing, research and collaboration on Central Bank Digital Currencies.
In 2019, we completed the first draft of a CBDC White Paper which introduced a tool for central banks to make CBDC related decisions.
The CBDC Committee will expand the work done by the working group and engage with the current and future Committee advisors and members to introduce CBDC courses, develop CBDC tools and research, and build collaborative initiatives. Our goal is to become a global platform for CBDC related collaboration and drive for inclusive and sustainable CBDC innovation and adoption.
Our newsletter is to keep our stakeholders informed on the latest developments in CBDCs. Included are CBDC Headlines, CBDC Tech Repository Spotlight, Global Adoption Pioneer, Latest Research, and Events sections.
