We are very excited to announce the launch of the CBDC Committee on September 8th, 2020 at the CBDC Forum.
In 2018, FinTech4Good, the World Digital Economy Council and the DeFi Alliance launched a CBDC Working Group in facilitating learning, sharing, research and collaboration on Central Bank Digital Currency.
In 2019, we completed the first draft of a CBDC White Paper which introduced a tool for central bank to make CBDC related decisions.
The CBDC Committee will expand the work done by the working group and engage with the current and future Committee advisors and members to introduce CBDC courses, develop CBDC tools and research, and build collaborative initiatives. Our goal is to become a global platform for CBDC related collaboration and drive for an inclusive and sustainable CBDC innovation and adoption.
Our newsletter is to keep our stakeholders informed of the latest development in CBDC. We will include CBDC Headlines, CBDC Tech Repository Spotlight, Global Adoption Pioneer, Latest Research, and Events.
